Dough

I love the smell of freshly baked bread. There’s nothing better than the warm aroma of a crusty loaf, soft & pillowy inside and fresh & crispy just out of the oven.

As luck would have it though, I’m gluten intolerant! Yes, woe is me. Despite wanting nothing more than a thick slice of toasty bread, drizzled in butter or sandwiching delicious bacon, pate or soft blue cheese, I’m left wanting and whining like a puppy at many a bakery window!

But why should that stop me from enjoying the visual beauty of bread in its many yummy varieties. From Mediterranean-influences sundried tomatoes, juicy black olives and salty anchovies, to fruity & nutty slices of toast, to herbilicious breads infused with rosemary, thyme and basil – there’s always a wonderful aroma from a loaf, cob or baguette to be enjoyed….

And some wonderful ‘loafography’ for us all to enjoy too!
